The craft
Precision. Held to a standard.
Every Mayrill piece is crafted in 14k or 18k pure gold. Nothing less.
How it's made
From raw gold to finished piece
At Mayrill, every piece is made in either 14k or 18k gold — real gold, through and through. No plating, no shortcuts.
01
14k Gold
14k gold is 58.5% pure gold. It is harder and more resistant to everyday wear, making it ideal for pieces you never take off. The warm yellow tone stays true over time — no fading, no discolouration.
02
18k Gold
18k gold is 75% pure gold — a richer, deeper yellow that sits closer to fine jewellery tradition. Softer than 14k, it carries a warmth and weight that feels unmistakably precious.
03
Real gold, always
Both 14k and 18k are solid gold all the way through. Unlike gold-plated or gold-filled pieces, there is no base metal underneath. The gold does not wear away. It does not tarnish. It holds its value.
04
Hallmarked
Every Mayrill piece is stamped with its karat mark — 585 for 14k, 750 for 18k. This is your permanent guarantee of gold content, recognised internationally.
05
Skin-safe
Both 14k and 18k gold are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. No nickel, no irritants. Wear it day and night without worry.
06
Lasting value
Gold holds its intrinsic value over time. A 14k or 18k piece bought today will be worth something tomorrow — unlike plated jewellery, which has no resale value once the surface wears.
Quality control
The checks that never get skipped.
Every piece is inspected before it leaves our workshop. Anything that does not meet our standard is remade — not discounted, not sold as seconds. Only 14k and 18k gold leaves under the Mayrill name.
